Encourage them to use colors as a way to express how they feel—simply provide Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Gray, and Black pencils, and ask them to draw or color based on their emotions. Follow up with gentle questions, starting with "Why do you feel this way?" Creating a safe, non-judgmental space for your child to express themselves is crucial.
